At a protest in the UK, Muslims were carrying signs with slogans like 'democracy is cancer'. What do they mean?

Maybe they should talk to the other Muslims around the Arab world who have been shot, oppressed and tortured trying to get democracy recently while the west sat on its hands instead of enjoying the fruits of democracy to call for the end of democracy like a bunch of frickin' nincampoops!
