Home Schooler Going Into High School, Any Tips?

Hey, I've been home schooled my whole life, but i'm gonna go to high school this year as a freshman. Any tips for me? I'm a guy and ill know six kids for sure, and one i kinda no. I'm gonna play football for my school. I'm gonna take Art, French, TV production, and HOPE(which is Health and PE) for my electives. Any tips to help me make more friends and stuff like that would be good. Thanks.
