Has anyone else encountered defects with the iPhone 4?

I just bought the iPhone 4 and just a few days in, it's already showing flaws such as randomly dropped calls, perpetual Internet freezing, overly sensitive keyboard and texts that aren't going through. It's so irritating to have a brand new $400 Phone that Apple swears by and yet it doesn't even properly operate!
