Just had 2 interviews in one day at Nordstrom?

I just had an interview today (Wednesday) at Nordstrom for the kids footwear section and things went great so i talked to the department manager and it went well also.. She walked me around and then I had to act like she was a customer with her child and sell her a shoe and it went great to...and then we walked back to the resource center thing and she told me that they are going to run a reference check and what not and i should get a call either by friday or monday. I was just wondering if this has happened to anyone else and if they actually call or should i call?
