Im extremly confused. It's about a comedian being dead.....?

okay so I've looked on youtube, google, photobucket. It tells me Mitch Hedberg, the comedian, is dead. But he was just on a show, released in 2009 called "Stand-Up Showdown - Mitch Hedberg." please help me he's my idol.
