Its a list consisting of authors titles of books or journals or magazines and sometimes page numbers and also publication dates and volume number. Its basically so your Professor or teacher knows what your source is and you have to give that in University because of plagarism because you can even receive a failing grade if you don't credit your source in a essay or research paper.
