What is it called when you are a boy, but you think, or "know" you are a girl?

isn't when you feel like the other gender. its when you were born into the wrong body, where everything about you feels like your a certain gender even though your physical appearance is different. and I myself do not like the term gender identity disorder, its not a disorder. there's nothing wrong with us. I like to think of it as a birth defect.
